How to Find Joy in Autumn
Did you know that trees are already forming the buds that will grow into fresh new leaves next spring? Fall is a time of beauty in the landscape, if only we look past the tired leaves on the trees.
Design with Nature
During the summer I came across these two acorns growing together, one larger than the other. I fell in love with them straight away and had to preserve their shape by casting them in silver. I chose to keep the form exactly as it was on the branch, curling the twig into a loop in order to create a pendant which moves freely on its chain.
What's Your Colour?
Available in sterling silver, yellow gold or rose gold plated, the acorn pendant is on an 18 inch chain which has an extra loop so that you could wear it shorter too. The acorns are dainty as they were picked while young, making this a comfortable as well as a beautiful necklace to wear every day.
The Mighty Oak
The oak is rich in symbolism. In Celtic and Nordic cultures, the acorn symbolized immortality, fertility, and life. Acorns are also said to represent wisdom, strength, eternal youth and perseverance. The acorn necklace would make a perfect gift for a nem mum, a landmark birthday, or a good luck charm for someone embarking on a new chapter of their life. Or a gift to yourself. Because you’re worth it!
