This is the perfect solution if you would like to order a ring and have no idea how to measure your finger. There are many pitfalls that you can stumble upon when you are trying to buy a ring online. For a start, different countries/regions have different sizing scales. Secondly, the difference between 2 ring sizes, and especially between a half size and the next full size is so tiny, that it can be a bit of a minefield if you would like to order a ring online. The only way to be absolutely sure that you are ordering a correct size is if you try on rings made by the same maker, using the same instruments to determine your size.
If you would like to order a ring from my range, or a bespoke ring, I would strongly recommend verifying your size at the outset. One option would be for you to send me a ring of yours that you wear on the same finger so that I can measure and determine its size. Alternatively you can visit a jeweller and have your finger measured. As my instruments are the same as those used by many professional jewellers in the UK, I would be fairly confident that there would be no discrepancy. If you are outside the UK, or you would rather be absolutely sure, I would propose the following:
1) I will email you a printable pdf document which has a number of different ways in which you can measure your ring size. In order to avoid discrepancies in sizing conversions, I would also recommend that you use the sheet to measure an existing ring, or take it to a professional jeweller in order to make sure the sizing scale corresponds to the local scale.
2) Once you have a guide size, you can order a number of my silver sizing rings to try on at home. This is a really good idea as your finger size can fluctuate at different times of the day, and depending on the temperature. It is common for a finger size to go up by a full size in the summer time. Trying on the rings at different times of the day will give you a better idea as to what size is the best fit for you.
3) Once you are happy with your choice, send the rings back to me and I will refund you the cost of the rings.
The rings are 2.3mm wide, D shaped, sterling silver.
