Willow Bud Drop Earrings with Nephrite

These drop earrings adorned with a willow bud feature an olive green nephrite smooth drop.  The solid gold ear hook is thoughtfully designed to allow for the drop to be removed so you can hang other charms and gemstones, offering lots of choice.  Handcrafted from recycled 9 carat gold, each pair is carefully made, creating earrings that are as comfortable as they are beautiful.  The earring measures 3cm from top of hook to bottom of gemstone.

Nephrite is one of the two distinct minerals commonly known as jade.  Though they are constituted of different minerals, nephrite and jadeite both qualify as jade.  Nephrite is what the Chinese artisans historically called yu, while they called jadeite fei-ts'ui.
